JaneLynn was born in a small town in West Virginia and growing up would go to the airport and watch the planes take off and land, laying on blankets in the backyard to look up at the stars and watch for “shooting stars.” At very early age she knew she wanted to be a teacher. Jane attended Fairmont State College and received a dual teaching degree, Elementary education and Physical Education her Masters in 2000 with an MA in Special Education. While in her last years of teaching, Jane and her sister started a junior astronomy club for students in her school. Now that she is retired, she intends to keep helping children reach for the stars and maybe get a few parents hooked as well.
