Solar System Ambassadors
Sadiq Silbak
Sadiq Silbak has an extensive academic, humanitarian, and community focused background which he continuously uses to touch the lives of those around him. He was a research assistant at a children's hospital where he worked to improve child health by enhancing our understanding of RASopathies, Neurofibromatosis Type I and Costello Syndrome. He was also an adjunct instructor at the University of Cincinnati (UC). He earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from UC with minors in math, chemistry, and a certification in Ancient Greek studies. He recently completed his master’s in science in immunology from the UC College of Medicine while holding a research appointment. Sadiq also has a committed history of service, including volunteering at the children's hospital and organizing a toy drive among the research community for the hospital’s patients and their families. Sadiq is always trying to generate innovative ways to help people. In February 2016, he formed a recycling enterprise. The company’s mission is to help disadvantaged communities and promote the need for safe, green spaces in lower-income neighborhoods through recycling projects. Joining the team of Solar System Ambassadors is simply the next logical step for him in his pursuit to positively impact the community.
