Levi Schult is an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia studying Astrophysics. Levi was a Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholar in 2016 and a Virginia Earth Systems Science Scholar in 2017, spending a week at NASA Langley research center through each program. He is currently learning python to begin research with Dr. Kelsey Johnson on dwarf galaxy collisions at UVA. Levi hopes to attend graduate school and obtain a doctorate in Astrophysics to eventually work at NASA as a research scientist. Space science and physics have always been Levi’s passion, and he is excited to begin his education in the field. Although he wants to visit space eventually, he considers his research a field trip to intergalactic space.
