Kristen has interests in all fields of science, but has a special place in her heart for environmental and space sciences. She grew up outside of Detroit, Michigan where she had the opportunity to take an astronomy class, work in a planetarium and become a member of a local Radio Astronomy Club. In 2007 she moved to Mobile, Alabama where she pursued a graduate degree in Environmental Toxicology. By day, she works as a Project Manager in Mobile. By night, she shares her love of astronomy with the local community.
