Jorge Rodriguez's son has had a passion for all things related to astronomy since kindergarten when he first looked through a telescope. That motivated him to learn more about the world of astronomy and share those experiences with his son. In December 2015, they visited NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. After they returned home in January, they became members of the Astronomical Society of the Caribbean and in February of the same year began to study a course of astronomy at the Universidad Metropolitana in San Juan which they completed this month of December 2017.
