Dani graduated from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington in the spring of 2015 with a BS in Middle Grades Math and Science Education. During her time at UNC Wilmington she worked with the Center for Education in STEM helping to organize events such as the Regional Science Olympiad and Science and Engineering Fair. She also volunteered often for family science events. These experiences helped to foster Dani‘s love for community outreach and more specifically STEM outreach. In April of 2016 Dani moved to the Asheville area and within a year found herself working happily with the local Museum of Science. In her free time Dani enjoys spending time with her horse and exploring the Carolina mountains.
