Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Nicole Phillips is one of the morning meteorologists at KSHB-TV. A University of Oklahoma graduate, Nicole interned at T.V. stations in Wichita, Oklahoma City and Atlanta. Outside of gaining television experience, Nicole also worked with Geo-Scientists in Houston Texas, to analyze loop current data. Nicole was involved in the Oklahoma/ NASA EPSCorR space grant program and was selected with a few of her peers to represent the University of Oklahoma in the Women in Science mentoring event. This event allowed middle school and high school students across Oklahoma to learn about different STEM careers available to them. In 2013, she was selected to visit the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena California. This program is designed to help support NASA-related missions across Oklahoma and to influence careers with NASA. In the summer of 2017 Nicole was selected to attend and cover Cassini's final mission, a NASA social event.
