Having grown up during the height of the Space Race, Chris Miller is a long time lover of all things related to Space! His passion led him to build a number of telescopes. He hosts star parties all over the north central Texas area. As a Science teacher, he was awarded the title of Middle School Science Teacher of the Year for the State of Texas in 2005 by the Science Teacher Association of Texas. His current position is Planetarium Coordinator at the John Carl Pogue Planetarium in Grand Prairie, In addition to his star parties, he hosts Planetarium Community Nights monthly, including several presentations in Spanish.
