John McGill
John McGill's passion for astronomy started when he was growing up in the 60's with the early days of NASA and watching the Apollo moon landings. These events lead to his own model rocket launches that he still enjoys doing today. When John's middle-school-aged son developed an interest in astronomy during the 90's, they bought a real telescope that they observed both the day and night sky. John is a NASA credentialed launch photographer and journalist that can give you a unique perspective of NASA's present-day space program. If John is not covering a rocket launch, you may find him hosting planetarium shows at Henry Ford College or at an outreach event for future astronomers.
