Vaughn Hunter
Vaughn Hunter is a retired Aerospace Engineer whose career gave him access to some of the nation's leading technology., missiles, submarines, helicopters and commercial aircraft. He grew up watching the nations space initiative from Mercury to the Space Shuttle, and as an adult the beginning of the transition to commercial space flight. He participated in the manufacture of solid propellant rocket motors for the submarine launch missiles, not to different from those used on the Space Shuttle. He helped develop the design for the Apache Helicopter for several nations, and led the design effort for fuselage trainers for the US Apache helicopter, Chinook helicopter, and the KC-767 refueling aircraft. He was part of the massive team that developed the 787 family of commercial aircraft.
