Although Sky Hoffert come from a small town in the middle of Pennsylvania, he has big dreams. He has always been a futurist and a learner; dreaming of worlds far more advanced than our own; perpetually searching for something new to learn about; curious about why things are the way they are. These passions have pushed him to explore outside of my comfort zone. Sky's passions have inevitably led him to pursue a career in space exploration and scientific discovery. Not a day goes by where he hasn't looked into the sky or learned something interesting about the cosmos. But he does not wish to stop there. He wishes to share his passions with the rest of the world and allow the young generation to manifest their thoughts in science. Currently, Sky study Electrical/Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, with a focus on communication systems for space related projects. Of the several projects he is part of, most of them are associated with space and communication. With his remaining time at Virginia Tech, he plans to delve more into radio frequency and digital design, with some more background on astrophysics and electronics. Ultimately, he hopes to make technological advances in communication systems and space exploration.
