Jared Head
A Los Angeles native, Jared Head grew up surrounded by aerospace in the city of Downey. His childhood obsession with spacecraft returned in adulthood and he left his college's theater arts program to join their aerospace engineering program, where he is currently working on his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering. When not in school, Jared works at Griffith Observatory taking complex science and presenting it to the public. His "weekend gig" sees him co-hosting a science podcast about spaceflight with one of the largest audiences online out of podcasts dedicated to spaceflight. He also builds high-power rockets in his garage. An avid photographer, he has won several awards for his astrophotography. Still interested in his theatrical roots, Jared is also an award-winning comedy improv performer. Jared's other interests include running, camping and taking his Jeep offroad. His presentation style has been noted for its attention to detail, the ability to explain high-concepts in easy-to-understand terms, passion for the subjects being presented and witty humor that keeps all engaged.
