Ken Feldt lives near Richmond, Virginia, though his hometown is Buffalo, New York. By day, he works with on-line document management and editorial systems. By night, he explores different ways to help people discuss mathematics, science, and engineering in on-line communities. His profession has, in one way or another, involved the creative use of digital media to entertain, inform, and inspire. He loves studying how the combination of science and engineering has allowed us to do what comes naturally to us - to explore and to learn. And nowadays, he finds himself absorbed in the tasks of informing the next generation that the work and perseverance that goes into space exploration will pay great dividends in helping us better understand how our own world works, and maybe, help us better understand ourselves.
