Kelly grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with most of her childhood spent dreaming of becoming an astronaut and going to Space Camp. Kelly graduated college with a degree in "Communication and Information Arts"...which means she's great at talking! Volunteering has always been important to Kelly and she feels grateful to be able to help various organizations. Space exploration and the vast unknown has always been Kelly's first love, even prompting her to fly to Florida for the last shuttle launch. She will always remember where she was the moment Spirit and Opportunity landed on the Martian surface.
