Dominique Butler is currently a full-time student, pursuing an astronomy major and a communications minor, with the goal of becoming a space science communicator within popular culture. She is actively involved in educational outreach with several space science organizations. In Spring 2016, Dominique completed the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars Program, serving as a group leader to eight future engineers and scientists throughout the program. Dominique is working to bridge the gap between space science and popular culture, developing methods of education and communication through multiple media platforms. Through her educational articles, videos and outreach work, Dominique aims to share her passion for space science and astronomy, with the hope that it will bring to others the same sense of belonging and inspiration that it brings to her.
