Nature, science, stars and planetary figures have always captivated Lauren Bragg. The notion that you could actually be one of those incredible people and go to space has always been something that has held her interest. Her path didn't lead her to NASA in that specific way - but instead took her on the less beaten path where she has been able to explore on her own. She has been to Iceland to experience the northern lights, to Alaska to witness incredible meteor showers, and South Africa to see the most amazing full moon. The one thing that links us all is the fact that no matter where one is in the world, we are all under the same space. Lauren began her love of science as a very young child and it continues to this day. She grew up in Southern California and made her way up the coast, stopping in San Francisco and then continuing on to Seattle. She currently works for a major airline, has her own design company and teaches yoga part time. Her goal is to make the concept of space exploration tangible to her community and have fun doing it.
