Solar System Ambassadors
Howard Andrews
Howard Andrews, Jr. investigated applying to NASA's early astronaut program but was hampered by poor vision. Instead he became a private pilot and astronomy enthusiast. His first total eclipse adventure was July in 1991 when he and two friends drove 24 hours to the tip of Baja California to view and photograph one of the longest total eclipses of our era. With particular interests in astrobiology, exo-planets and NASA technology spinoffs, he is a follower of all things NASA.
