Dr. Tara Samuels is the Assistant Director in the Science Directorate at NASA Ames Research Center. She has served as a Mission Transport Pilot in the Civil Air Patrol, the civilian arm of the U.S. Air Force, where she held the rank of Captain. Tara holds MBA, MSAE, and PhD degrees and is passionate about all things air and space.
