Nathan Tubbs has been fascinated by space exploration since an early age. Although he wanted to be an astronaut, life took him from Alabama to Brooklyn, New York where he worked as a science teacher in the public school system since 2008. Daily, he tries to influence his students to see how exploration is of great benefit to mankind. While he does hope to one day be able to travel to space, he would settle for having one of his former students to become the first human to set foot on Mars.
