Roberta Parnell began her career in psychology but while raising her son she quickly became impressed with the ability that teachers have to impact students' lives. So Roberta went back to school to receive a multiple subject teaching credential with the desire to have an entire school year to make a positive impact on students. As a child in upstate New York, she spent her days outside exploring forests, streams and lakes. Throughout her life she has looked to nature to be inspired. The recent advancements in space knowledge and travel and the accessibility of that information has created a new sense of wonder and she now spends her free time learning about the solar system and adding science enrichment activities to the regular and extended day activities at school.
