Growing up in Cavite National Science High School in the Philippines and becoming one of the instructors there for 9 years showed Jennylou the value of Science and technology in life. As a resident of a third-world country, opportunities for space explorations were rare and costly. Today Jennylou enjoys teaching robotics and NASA Technology courses for high school students in rural New Mexico where she feels as a kid again building rovers with her students and testing them in a mini Mars yard that was built to mimic space exploration missions.
