Holli Gonzalez is employed by Bakersfield City School District as an Instructional Specialist for NGSS and the Kern Urban Teacher Residency program. She has a BS in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University, an MBA from the University of LaVerne and a M.Ed. in Advanced Instruction, Secondary STEM emphasis from the University of Southern California. She is currently enrolled in the Global PRiSE PhD in Curriculum & Instruction program through Texas Tech University. She also works as Adjunct Faculty in Teacher Education at California State University, Bakersfield, where she teaches multiple courses for pre-service educators. Holli is a life-long learner who is passionate about elementary science education and providing interesting and engaging learning experiences for all of her elementary and adult students. Holli enjoys science fiction, reading, and travel. Holli lives in Bakersfield with her two daughters.
