Dave Dooling is a freelance aerospace educator. Previously he was education director for the New Mexico Museum of Space History (2012-2022), education officer at the National Solar Observatory (2002-12) where he built the Sunspot Solar System Model, and a science writer in Huntsville, Alabama (1977-2002). Dave received an MS in space studies from the University of North Dakota in 2005 and an MS in science education from Montana State University in 2014.
