Leslie Barnhill's passion for science may have come later in life, but once she began studying geology and planetary science, she couldn’t wait to share her love of the subject with students. Shortly after she began teaching middle school, she received an MS in Geosciences and a M.Ed in Academic Administration. She then went on to teach high school as well as Earth science at Collin College before landing her dream job managing the Richardson ISD Planetarium. She currently manages and teaches all grade levels at the Mesquite ISD Russell Planetarium.
