Solar System Ambassadors
Skye Wardell
Since Skye first stepped foot at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in March 2013, she knew she wanted to reach for the stars. She currently runs her own companies in consulting, business content/media, STEM, and space education and outreach, and she is obtaining her Master of Research Administration (graduating in December 2024). Educationally, she received her B.S. in Biological Sciences in December 2020 and her M.S. in Space Studies, completing her thesis research: "An In-depth Look on Earth-anchoring through Architectural Treatments to Mitigate Psychological and Psychosocial Issues during Long-duration Spaceflight." She is a NASA L'SPACE MCA and NPWEE academies graduate and has worked on projects including NASA NEEMO and NASA/Planetary Society Impact Crater research. She is passionate about animals and performing arts and has interned and volunteered at the Marine Science Center, logging over 120 hours. As an SSA, she has hosted events at places, including schools, expos, and even NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Through her experiences, she created Anchors to Infinity, LLC, which strives to create educational programs and solve modern-day challenges through research and development. She has met a number of astronauts and has heard their stories; now, it’s time to create her own. Skye is open to any events; feel free to reach out for more information!
