Dennis Crowley
Dennis Crowley was raised in a United States Air Force family and wanted to fly the X-15 at age 5!. He developed a keen interest in aviation and aerospace at an early age and was highly motivated in high school and college. He was unable to pass the eyesight test for military pilot training and entered the radio-news profession in 1976. Dennis has been an on air news anchor/reporter for radio and television stations and has been in the Washington DC area in broadcasting since 1979. His work has involved several media orientation flights in jet aircraft. In 2011, Dennis attended the US Space and Rocket Centers, Adult Advanced Space Academy program and graduated with honors. He has been keenly interested in developing aerospace education programs concerning the Orion and the NASA Flight Control Room (FCR).
