Morgan Kempf's early interest in Space exploration and cosmic origin led her to an academic background in Anthropology and Physics. In the past 13 years, as the spouse of a United States Sailor, she's appreciated the variety and commonality of many of the world's culture's perspectives on celestial navigation, viewing the cosmos from both North and South hemispheres. Particular event expertise is with younger school-age groups in libraries hosting Story Time From Space with an accompanying activity. Events have been hosted in southern Japan, southern California, and Guam on military bases and with Girl Scout groups. She is currently a research apprentice for an NSF sponsored grant known as ARC-NAV: Arctic Robust Communities-Navigating Adaptation to Variability.
