After 34 years of public service as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General and as a police officer, Wayne Kriynovich has been able to share his lifelong interest in all things related to astronomy and space with a wide and diverse audience. Wayne has been employed as a Planetarium Specialist, Astronomy Naturalist and Astronomy Assistant. As he likes to say, "I was getting paid to do my hobby. It's like they were paying me to play golf." Wayne moved to the Washington, DC area in May 2014 after the birth of his first grandchild, and he continues pursuing his personal interests in all things space related by volunteering at local museums.
