Elena Semerdjian is a Glendale City Commissioner on the Status of women and former field representative for Assemblyman Mike Gatto in the California State Legislature. A Ph.D hopeful in theoretical physics, Miss Semerdjian is also a former after-school program teacher for a non-profit which provides free tutoring and social services to underserved youth in the community.
