Nelson Roman-Cruz was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. He attended the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in Computer Science. Later, he completed the CompTIA A+ IT Professional Certification and recently finished his Astronomy for Amateurs Professional Certification at the Metropiltan University (UMET) in Puerto Rico. Nelson founded the Colegio Evangelico Capitan Correa School Astronomy Club in 2014 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico and enjoys conducting presentations about augmented reality (AR) and using NASA's Eyes on the Solar System.
