Michael Prator is an avid student of science and firm believer that learning is a life-long process with over 25 years experience in the areas of computer science and educational technology. One of his primary passions is astronomy and science education because of how these areas have influenced humanity since our ancestors first looked up with awe at the night sky and began to share stories about what they saw. Michael is an active member of the amateur astronomy community in the greater Milwaukee/West Bend Wisconsin area. He has earned degrees in journalism, computer science, and has completed extensive studies in astronomy and educational technology. Michael is an active volunteer in the community and local Girl Scout neighborhood and hosts star parties when the weather and schedule permits.
