Amy C. Oliver, FRAS, comes from a family of professional scientists and amateur astronomers and astrophotographers. Amy graduated from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 2006 with a Bachelors of Arts and from the University of Oklahoma in 2013 with a Master of Science. In 2021, she completed a professional certificate in DEIJ with the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. beginning in 2024, she will pursue her PhD in earth systems and policy. Her background includes work in marketing, public relations, graphic design, collections management, and exhibits development. She currently serves as Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution's Whipple Observatory in Amado, Arizona.
