Axel Diaz was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico and came to Lancaster, PA in 1998. After graduating from high school he decided to pursue a career in technology. After graduating from the Institute of Technology of Ponce in 1987 with an associate degree in Biomedical Technology, he attended the Ponce Paramedical College where he studies sales and marketing. While living in Puerto Rico, Axel learned America Sign Language and acted as interpreter. Since 1999, Axel has been working for a manufacturing company as a production supervisor in Lancaster and recently went back to college to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
