Amy Northrop has always been interested in science and space. Her father used to bring her to the Highland Road Park Observatory (HRPO) when she was young. While studying for her art degree she rediscovered HRPO and started working there in 2011, first as an aide, and then as an Education Curator where she teaches children and adults about science and space. She is now the Education Program Specialist at the Observatory.
