David Yenerall
David Yenerall is a senior lecturer of astronomy at Georgia State University. He holds an Education Doctorate as well as Master's degrees in astronomy and teaching. He is an active member in the local astronomy club, North Georgia Astronomers. He has a rocketry certification and is a member of a local club as well as acting as advisor to the college's space club. In 2010, David was honored to receive a NASA Endeavor Fellowship, for which funding was provided through the NASA Endeavor Teacher Fellowship Trust Fund as a tribute to the dedicated crew of the Space Shuttle Challenger. He graduated from the fellowship in 2012 with a STEM Certificate with Research Distinction from Teachers College Columbia University. David continues his association with NASA as a member of the NASA Museum Alliance, APL Van Allen Probes Ambassador, works with the Endeavor Fellowship and gives public talks about NASA missions locally and internationally. Most recently he is pleased to be a part of the NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador Program. This is because of his lifelong enthusiasm for astronomy and NASA space exploration.
