Bharath Muthyala received his masters degree in astronomy and astrophysics from Osmania University. During his college days, he worked at the observatory affiliated to the Osmania University in India. For 14 years, he worked in various capacities including program manager, assistant director and director of a planetarium in India. He enjoys interacting with student communities to popularize science through astronomy and space exploration. Bharath wants to make sure children not only read books on astronomy but get chanced to observe the stars, planets and other fascinating objects in the sky. To achieve that goal, he arranges sky shows using small binoculars and telescopes as well using astronomy software through tablets and smart phones. He enjoys watching the excitement children have when they first see craters on moon, Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons and other heavenly bodies through a telescope.
