Robert Herz
Recently retired, Lieutenant Colonel Robert P. Herz' last position was the Technical Director to Air Force TENCAP, Space Innovation & Development Center at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado. He leveraged technical expertise to guide new technologies to deliver revolutionary joint warfighting capabilities. Lt Col Herz integrated multi-agency partnerships to develop solutions to time-critical warfighter National requirements. He partnered with the reconnaissance program office to identify and develop innovative and quick reaction tactical collection capabilities to support real-time warfighter needs. Lt Col Herz was most recently Site Director of Operations for the AFRL Mesa Research Site, charged with advancing systems, tools & methods to improve operations training through Distributed Mission Operations and C4ISR. Lt Col Herz was born in Troy, Ohio in 1967. He graduated from Wright State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiological Psychology based in Human Factors and a ROTC commission. He also holds a Masters Degree in Aerospace Operations Management from Embry-Riddle University, and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Operations Business Management from Northcentral University. He holds a private pilots license and rescue and artifact SCUBA certifications as well. He is married with three sons and a daughter.
