Zak Dafaallah is a Solar System Ambassador living in Washington D.C. He works for a Managed Service Provider as Director of Information Technology. He has always has a passion for astronomy, ever since his parents took him to Griffith Park Observatory when he was a young child. Having worked at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History as a planetarium and observatory presenter, he is now in the nation's capital, looking forward to bringing astronomy to the masses. Zak confesses to being a huge nerd, and enjoys building and fixing computers and electronics, building and riding motorcycles, and exploring the beautiful night-time sky and all that lies beyond!
