Jose Candelaria Medina is an Astronomy professor in the Capitan Correa Evangelical College from Hatillo Puerto Rico and a bonafide member of the Puerto Rico Astronomy Society (PRAS), a leader in the local astronomy community since Halley's Comet last visit in 1985, the island's oldest and largest astronomy organization and an affiliate of NASA Puerto Rico Space Grant Consortium since 2002.
