Denise Zigler
Denise Ann Zigler has been a teacher of gifted and talented students for 22 plus years and 31 years altogether in the field of educational instruction. She has taught at NASA-SEMAA, at Tennessee State University. She has taught as far away as the last frontier of Alaska, to the plains of Texas, the desert of Arizona, inner-city schools in Ohio and now she is teaching in Nashville, Tennessee, serving gifted and talented students. Over the past two years she helped create the gifted Practicum at Middle Tennessee State University. Denise aspired to be the first teacher in space. And then through flowing tears, she watched the space shuttle Challenger.
