Lauren Alloyce Tucker, MSW/LCSW-R, has a background in clinical and psychiatric social work and has worked with diverse inpatient and outpatient populations. She currently works with special needs children in a Bronx, New York early-childhood center. She also is a member of the United Nations Non-Governmental Organizations Committee on Mental Health, where she co-chairs the Working Group on Children, Youth and Mental Health. |Lauren's avocational loves span an eclectic mix of activities and disciplines, ranging from music and motorcycling to space and science. Her passion for all things related to space and space exploration is rooted in childhood memories of time spent with her mother gazing into the night sky. Now she is passing this sense of wonder and joy on to her own children as they share telescope time in the backyard of their Rockland County home. |
