Contact James

After graduating from college, James McGuire served in the Army for two years, including an assignment in Vietnam. After that, he achieved his desire of having a career at NASA. Over a span of 34 years, Jim was fortunate to be a part of four earth orbiting satellite programs. These included weather, atmospheric science, and astronomy satellites. He then transitioned to the Space Shuttle and Space Station Programs and was the program manager for the ten Shuttle Spacelab missions. After retiring from NASA, Jim spent the next twelve years as a substitute teacher in various schools in Maryland and Pennsylvania. This enabled him to share my passion for space exploration on numerous occasions.
