Jennifer Hudgins
Jennifer Hudgins became interested in space science while she was in Middle School and had the privilege of meeting Sally Ride at a conference to inspire young girls to be astronomers and engineers. From there, Jen attended the University of Delaware to study Astrophysics. From Delaware, she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to pursue an Elementary Education degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma. While in Tulsa, Jennifer was awarded Teacher of the Year from her school and she served as Science Department Chair and Team leader. Jennifer also helped to rewrite her districts science standards to align with the Common Core Curriculum. She later received her Masters of Science in Geosciences from Mississippi State University. Currently, Jennifer is an Education Specialist with the Kennedy Space Center Educator Resource Center leading professional development workshops with teachers and teaching hands-on activities with students around the state of Florida.
