Maria Esquela has loved science and NASA's exploration of the Earth and space for as long as she can remember. The excitement of the Apollo missions led to the purchase of a telescope in high school and continues to be a space enthusiast. Her expectation that people would soon live and work in space helped fuel her interests in science, computers and medicine. It also created an appetite for science-inspired art and puzzle solving. She feels everyone can make a contribution to the way scientific discoveries are made, shared, and enjoyed. She likes to work with classes, workshops and community/Scouting events. She is also eager to help people get involved in related games, citizen science, experiments and projects.
