Meet the team! Ian Lyon, a reader in Isotope Geochemistry at the School of Earth, Atmospheric and Environmental Science at the University of Manchester, England leads the Interstellar Dust Laser Explorer (IDLE) team and is using the TOF-SIMS instrument with laser post-ionization for measuring implanted solar wind profiles in the returned Genesis samples.
Jamie Gilmour heads up the Refrigerator Enhanced Laser Analyser for Xenons (RELAX) lab where the RELAX instrument is being used for analyzing xenon samples in the Genesis samples.
