Responsible for researching the coupling of tropospheric and
magnetospheric phenomena as part of the NASA Solar Terrestrial

- Visiting Undergraduate Fellow:
Completed the development of a diffuse reflectance model begun
as a senior research project at Houston Baptist University.
This model was to be used for studying infrared transmission
spectroscopy of powders immersed in alkali halide disks.

- Student Researcher:
Wrote a computer model to solve the radiative transfer equation
for planar geometry, allowing for Fresnel reflection at the
boundaries. Began work on a diffuse reflectance model
as it applied to particulate matter.
