June 28, 2002

There were no Deep Space Network communications passes during the past week.

Work continues on the Comet Wild 2 encounter Fault Tree analysis in preparations for the Critical Event Readiness Review of Comet Wild 2 encounter testing.

The STARDUST Outreach team participated in the Teacher Enhancement Program, sponsored by the National Science Foundation and hosted by the Institute of Astronomy at the University of Hawaii. The focus of the program was Toward Other Planetary Systems 2002, involving educators and the general public. There, STARDUST personnel discussed comets and NASA missions to comets.
