Photo of Karen Liao Karen Liao has been working at JPL since 1999. She started as a software engineer and transitioned in as a systems engineer for the Mission Management Office Ground Data Systems group supporting Stardust, Genesis, Mars Global Surveyor, Mars Odyssey, Mars Exploration Rover, and SIRTF.

Her tasks have included supporting project database setup, software script development, integration and test, and other multi-mission systems engineering.

Karen has a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
