Biographical Information:

Laurie Averill has her M.S. in Library Science and Certification as School Library Media Specialist. She is now retired from her job as Library-Media Specialist and volunteers as a library Maker Mentor in addition to spending more time learning about astronomy, NASA missions, and observing the skies. She is certified to host the NASA Lunar Sample Disk and a member of the Astronomical Society of New Haven. Laurie participates as an amateur astronomer in its outreach programs as well as presenting lunar materials and solar observing.
