Biographical Information:

Paul Hughes is a German American undergraduate student at the University of Virginia studying Aerospace Engineering and Astronomy. Paul has been involved in space science by research by performing simulations for the NASA Atrex and Azure Sounding Rocket Missions. Currently, he is working on high altitude ballooning as well as leading the occultation team at the university which will soon have the world’s largest telescope for its purpose. After graduation, Paul strives to attain his doctorate in Astrophysics and perform research in space sciences in order to further explore the unknown. Paul enjoys speaking to anyone about space and sharing the excitement of new information.
